Infostealer je zlonamerni softver koji krađom i snimanjem informacija sa računara ili uređaja korisnika ugrožava njegovu privatnost i sigurnost. Ovi Infostealer -i mogu prikupiti osetljive podatke kao što su korisnička imena, lozinke, brojevi kreditnih kartica i druge lične informacije.

Maliciozni hakeri koji imaju pristup stealer logovima mogu iskoristiti ove informacije za krađu identiteta, finansijske prevare i napade na reputaciju korisnika.

Kako biste se zaštitili od Infostealer -a , preporučuje se redovno ažuriranje antivirusnog softvera, oprez pri otvaranju sumnjivih linkova i priloga, upotreba snažnih lozinki i pažljivo rukovanje ličnim podacima. Redovna provera bankovnih izvoda i kartičnih transakcija takođe može pomoći u otkrivanju eventualnih nepravilnosti i moguće krađe podataka.
