Nastja Cepak, PhD: “Towards the Post-Quantum Cryptography“
Cryptography is the foundation of digital security. The development of quantum computers promises to turn the development of technology on its head and enable computations that even today's most powerful supercomputers cannot cope with. On the other hand, quantum computers are the bane of security, as they will be able to break cryptographic algorithms that are today considered secure. Researchers around the world are rapidly developing a new generation of cryptographic infrastructure and algorithms that will be able to withstand new quantum types of attacks. We will present the current state of post-quantum cryptography standards and attacks on them.
Biography:
Nastja Cepak did her PhD in the field of symmetric cryptography and block ciphers. In the past years, she began to transfer theoretical knowledge to practice in the company CREAPLUS, where she works with hardware cryptographic solutions such as hardware security modules (HSM), encryption solutions and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). In the last year she specialized in the area of post-quantum cryptography

Nastja Cepak, dr. sc.: „Prema post-kvantnoj kriptografiji“
Kriptografija je temelj digitalne sigurnosti. Razvoj kvantnih računala obećava okrenuti naglavce razvoj tehnologije i omogućit će ogromne brzine računanja neusporediva sa brzinama današnjih najjačih superračunala. S druge strane, kvantna računala već se smatraju prokletstvom računalne sigurnosti, jer će moći razbiti današnje kriptografske algoritme koji se još smatraju sigurnima. Istraživači diljem svijeta ubrzano razvijaju novu generaciju kriptografske infrastrukture i algoritama koji će moći izdržati nove kvantne vrste napada. Prikazat ćemo trenutno stanje post-kvantnih standarda kriptografije i napade na njih.
Biografija:
Nastja Cepak doktorirala je na području simetrične kriptografije i blok šiframa. Posljednjih godina teoretsko znanje prenosi u praksu baveći se hardverskim kriptografskim rješenjima kao što su hardverski sigurnosni moduli (HSM), enkripcijska rješenja i infrastrukture javnih ključeva (PKI) u tvrtki CREAPLUS. U zadnje vrijeme specijalizira se u području post-kvantne kriptografije.
Nakon događaja CPE bodovi bit će dostavljeni za sve registrirane ISC2 članove.
